This was an excursion one day I’ve gone with my boyfriend after our 6 months together – we decided that we should probably grab another food blog for foodie utopia (because why not?). We headed over the Cora’s where we were able to try something a little bit different from my usual excursions and that is having breakfast out!
We were greeted by some friendly staff and we were led to a table at the far back of the restaurant in a booth, which was nice and cozy. I took a look at the menu and it was beautiful coloured and vibrant looking.
I never knew that breakfast could have some variety! Coming to Cora’s made me realize just how much diversity you can have in breakfast menu items. After some prolonged contemplation on what to order, we placed it in and managed to get our food in a short few minutes.
My boyfriend for breakfast that day got the Eggs Benedict with Tomato, Bacon and Shallots which looked absolutely stunning. I can see why breakfast is some people’s favourite meal of the day – and especially when you’re getting it from Cora, you cannot go wrong! My boyfriend seemed to enjoy his breakfasst very much, and finished off his plate with ease.
For myself, I’m not too much of a breakfast fan, particularly because in the mornings I feel more entitled to other things in my life, so I don’t really prioritize breakfast in the morning. This morning I had a treat for breakfast though – I ordered the Burger Brunchwhich was probably the closest I’d get to lunch menu selection. This was basically a burger made sandwich style and had potatoes on the side which I absolutely loved. Overall it was a great tasting meal.
Cora is a chain restaurant which has earned its reputation, and made its place in Toronto – I was happy to have tried something new on an excursion out for foodie utopia. For more information on Cora, visit their website: http://www.chezcora.com/en
