Daily Sushi was a discovery I made for myself when I was craving Japanese food during my lunch break, and I needed to grab something quick nearby. Usually I do takeout with this restaurant, but because my boyfriend came by during my lunch break, I had to sit in and get another foodie blog for foodie utopia!

The inside of Daily Sushi is small, yet cozy and comfortable. There’s just enough seats for a good amount of people to come in and enjoy their Japanese food, and the layout of the restaurant was pretty authentic. We were handed a menu and I immediately grabbed their Lunch Special menu, which happened every day from 11am to 3pm. Both my boyfriend and I decided on the Sushi Combo K which came with the following:

Each of our lunches came with a salad and miso soup, a standard of many Japanese combination meals. The salad was only okay, as the sauce was not truly authentic, but the miso soup was great and tasted delicious. We also had some Green Tea to drink, as well as some Spring Roll on the house. The spring roll didn’t taste that good, but it was on the house so we still ate it anyway.

The both of us each had a plate of 8 pieces of Salmon Avocado Rolls and 8 pieces of Tempura Fish Rolls. 16 pieces total, a miso soup and a salad for a convenient price of $8.99, which is quite cheap for sushi! And to make matters even better, the sushi was delicious and it tasted authentic. I always grabbed this to go whenever I was on my break from work, but it was nice to sit in with some company to enjoy my lunch break too.
