On Bloor Street West, there lies an interesting dessert place that my friend and I went to visit after our dinner at Dimmi’s. Eva’s Original Chimneys is a dessert spot which is famous for their fresh doughnut cones and soft serve.

The inside of Eva’s was really great, inside you can see the fresh doughnut cones being made and the menu was displayed overhead the cashier. At Eva’s you get to choose what type of cone you wanted (because it’s near the Christmas season they have some options for Christmas themed cones) along with any toppings you like for an extra dollar each.

If you do come to Eva’s, make sure your stomach can handle sweets. I ordered for myself a Dark Chocolate Chimney Cone with a Vanilla Soft Serve, and customized it with nutella spread, caramel drizzle, white chocolate and dark chocolate. It was really tasty, but my stomach simply could not take all the sweetness it had to offer.

My friend on the other hand had a better chance of finishing his cone, he had just the Candy Cane Chimney with Vanilla Soft Serve. On his account, it was really tasty and the cone was probably the best part of the dessert that night. I like how they make it fresh, so when it’s served to us, the cone is warm.

Overall, be prepared to take on a great amount of sweets if you come to this establishment, but in the right amount, Eva’s is definitely a great treat.
