Gamberoni was an excursion I made with my coworkers and manager for a company dinner. It’s located up by Lawrence station, and it was a small Italian restaurant which has a lovely, homey feel.

The waiters came by with ice cold water, which I drank excessively because I was thirsty after the commute, and I had a chance to take a look at the menu with my company for the evening. Once everyone had their order in mind however, it was difficult to flag down a waiter to take the order until quite some time.

Some time after the waiter took our orders, we were able to talk in a dimly lit atmosphere. For a company dinner, I’d say it was fairly appropriate because it was quiet and also comfortable. I think it would be best suited for a date night however, because of its coziness.

For myself, I had ordered the Linguine Gamberoni which had shrimp, scallops, olive oil and garlic mixed in with linguine, and I must say that this dish was so flavorful. The shrimps and scallops had a sweet and salty taste, blended with spices and seasoning that were profound yet very tasty. However, I would say that the linguine was a little bit more on the dry side, and could have used some more sauce. Had there been a linguine gamberoni alfredo, maybe it would have been the perfect Italian dish for the evening.
