Cafés have become a norm within the city, so it’s difficult to find a nice, cozy one to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a little pastry of the sort. I was lucky to visit Le Gourmandwhich was nearby where I’m current residing with my older brother, who recommended this little café for me to try, and blog about too!

Inside was quite crowded with people starting their morning, so I was off to the side waiting for a seat while my brother went to place our order up front, so I cannot really comment on the service that they gave him. However he came back to the table in no time with our order, and I was very pleased with the selections made!

Both my brother and I were given hot, piping Cappuccinos  which were beautifully coloured with coffee powder, and a milk foam. It was very light, frothy and tasty – I really enjoyed sipping my coffee in their cups along with the saucer.

My brother got us some Chocolate Chip Cookies as well, which was probably the great cookie I’ve gotten at a café. The cookie was the perfect sweetness, perfect moisture, everything! It was so delicious that the thought of it has me wanting to take my school work to this cafe and munch on one of these with a cappuccino. It was so delicious!

Overall, I’m glad to have visited this café to expand my list of blogs for foodie utopia on this category – as well as exploring potential study spots and morning areas where I can just relax and enjoy myself. Le Gourmand did not disappoint, and I’m going to make sure I can get back there again for one of my mornings coming soon!
