Vietnamese cuisine has long consisted of a variety of different dishes. Their most famous dish being, the beef noodle soup. This specialty of the Vietnamese infuses well cooked noodles, with raw beef, scallions, cilantro, onions, green onions, parsley, and an assortment of other meats of your choice. In particular, Pho Hung, located on Spadina in Toronto, is a great place to enjoy this great delicacy. Down below are some of the usual selections I make with my company;

My selection includes the typical and well known bowl of Pho, known as Pho Tai, which includes everything I mentioned previously. This pho however only has the rare beef strips which are great when you dip them with hosin sauce. To add to your pho, I also suggest squeezing some lime and picking off some mint leaves to enhance the smell and taste. 

Also in the photo above, a friend of mine grabbed a bowl of Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio, or beef, noodles and spring roll. This dish is a favourite of my as well (but that day I wanted some pho!) and it also has roasted peanuts, and pickled carrots and veggies. This dish is a great eat when you pour some nuoc mam in it and mixed together.

 Pho Hung was a restaurant that I’ve visited many times with my family, and even got to be with friends at this place when I entered UofT. We always got to enjoy a nice bowl of pho after studying or during a huge gap between classes. Etiher way, Pho Hung has always been the spot for great pho!
