Pizza is a favourite to many, with good reason! Who wouldnt want to endulge in an explosion of taste all on the finest cooked dough? On an exploration downtown one time, my brother, mom and I stumbled upon the Pizzeria Libretto located by the intersection of University Ave and Pearl Street in the downtown core of Toronto. We order two large pizzas, as shown below;

Ontario Prosciutto Pizza, which is the pizza on the right of the photo below. On it, we had tomato, basil, Mozzarella and of course, prosciutto which, when infused together on a lovely pizza, was great for taste and great for the stomach!

The pizza on the left was the Napoletana Pizza, which consists of tomato, dried oregano, Infornata Olives, Capers, Anchovy, fried garlic and chilli oil (of course that pizza was for my brother and my mom as they love spicy foods… I don’t!)

The restaurant provided us with a bottle of ice cold water which was great to have when you’re having all this salty tasting pizza (with anchovies, it’ll be even more salty!)

The experience at this pizzeria, which was a good one in comparison to another pizzeria that I have visited before (Famaso Pizzeria on Bloor Street West), allowed us to have some good pizza, filled tummies and good memories with loved ones :).
