It was a hot summer day, and my eldest brother just graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce. What better way of celebrating than taking a visit to Rol San, a dim sum restaurant that Mr. BCom himself recommended?! The family and I along with my brother’s girlfriend all took a trip to Spadina Avenue and ate here, this being the first time for me.

Our visit here went by quite smoothly – the service ushered us to our table, handed us an order form from which we marked the quantity of what we wanted, and just gave it back to them to retrieve the food we desired from the kitchen.

Down below are all the selections of dim sum we made during our visit to Rol San, all of which, in my opinion, were prepared fresh, hot and satisfying for the tummy! 

Two Orders of Shrimp Har Gow and Sticky Rice
Deep Fried Squid Tentacles and Egg Tarts
Chicken feet
Beef Tripe and Chicken Feet
From top to bottom – beef tripe, curry cuttlefish and chicken feet

For anyone looking for reasonably priced dim sum, quick service and quality, I think that Rol San is a great visit that you should make. For my fellow Foodie Utopia readers who are from the St. George campus, it’s reasonably close to campus which makes it a decent visit to make with a group of friends for lunch during your gaps. Most definitely, Rol San caters to provide some quality dim sum!
